Punch has brought back the eagerly anticipated Black music festival - BASS (British Arts & Street Sounds) for June 2007. BASS is a month long celebration of the best of British arts and street sounds. Now bigger than ever, BASS will feature 40 events in over 20 different venues across Birmingham & East Midlands.
You can expect leading artists in Hip-Hop, RnB, D&B, Gospel, Future Jazz, Broken Beat house at various venues across the Midlands. Additionally, there will be films, workshops, seminars, Hip-Hop and Fashion exhibitions and much, much more.
At the launch of BASS (invite only) - which you are invited - will feature legendary film maker/photographer, Henry Chalfont (Style Wars, Spray Can Art) and Goldie hosting a Q&A session and the showing of Henry’s latest work ‘From Mambo to Hip-Hop.

Well well the FF crew have done it again.You guys are really bringing on the reggae scene round these ends, no-one else is controlling it the way you are and I think that the vibe you bring to every night you are involved in is such a welcome relief for every one of us that comes to support you.
We will continue to do so and when you Big bad and famous do not forget who was there listening to u tunes every Mon!Swansea was a real learning curve for me as I never knew the band were so good. You got the whole place moving (even the Swansea Rock massiv!). No one can fault you on the way u runnin tings.Keep up the fantastic work and roll on the next coach trip with the Jam Jah crew....
