About Us
Friendly Fire Label
Friendly Fire Music was created a few years
ago by producer Robin Giorno to provide fresh conscious music for the
people, using the wealth of talent available locally in Moseley,
Birmingham, UK.
This was a natural progression to take the Jam Jah Sound which was
already active locally, to another level.
Sourcing influences from reggae, hip-hop and world music, Friendly Fire builds heavyweight leftfield reggae instrumentals blending computer generated beats with live instruments, which are then voiced by a number of artists including Juggla, The Usual Suspec Paradox, Messenger Douglas, Lionart, Ras T Weed, Pablo Rider.
Friendly Fire also has an in-house band, "The Friendly Fire Band which serves as a backing band for live events aswell as composing new music, and are available for hire as a backing band for live performances or studio work.
Friendly Fire Services
Friendly Fire offers a range of services. We offer CD duplication, audio recording and editing, event organisation and PA hire and sound engineering service.
We also organise dubplate sessions - all artists mentioned on the site are available, as well as exceptional sessions with name artists.
Friendly Fire Events
Friendly Fire Music is promotes reggae events in Birmingham with a monthly night, "The Friendly Fire live Sessions" which showcases live reggae bands from the UK, as well as Friendly Fire artists on the Jam Jah Sound or backed by the Friendly Fire band, as well as the weekly Jam Jah sessions at the Bull's Head.
