Every third Friday of the month, Friendly Fire Sessions is a live reggae event, showcasing established and upcoming bands and artists from around the UK.
This month, Friendly Fire proudly presents a Soundsystem special, featuring the legendary DADDY FREDDY, live on the Jam Jah Sound, supported by the Friendly Fire MCs.
Daddy Freddy is a true living legend, with too many references to mention - his first recording was at Studio One, he had his first Jamaican number one in combination with Pinchers in 86, earning him a spot on Sugar Minott's Youthman Promotions European tour. Since then, he has recorded a plethora of tunes ranging from Dancehall to Jungle to Dubstep and is credited to be the creator of Raggamuffin-Hip-Hop recording with the best producers out of the US, UK and Europe, and earned recognition as one of the most energetic performers in his. As his first Friendly Fire produced singles and his new album are being finalized, we are proud to welcome the godfather DADDY FREDDY for a Live PA on the Jam Jah Sound, supported by the full Friendly Fire Crew for an up-tempo cross-genre mashup session.
